These include, NVQ 4 in Care and NVQ5 in managements MBA, MA, DBA, BA (Hons), Transactional Analysis, The Medical and Social Model, IANCICI, Epilepsy, Autism, Mental Health, Disability, Acquired Brain Injury.

The team work to develop the lives and personal development of individuals in the community. Support plans, behaviour management plans and risk assessments enable us to create a person centred plan. These are continually assessed with the individual, key worker and, where possible, relatives to create a bespoke package for achievable outcomes for each person.
Our collaborative pathways enable individualised development and efficient use of resources, providing our Local Authority clients with assurance, confidence and peace of mind.
Sarah was the Commercial Director at Milewood Healthcare. She has extensive experience of working with individuals who often challenge the system both in the U.K and the U.S and in numerous different care settings. She has been employed in a regional role for Voyage Care and Barchester Healthcare for eight and a half years. During, this time she was instrumental in the management of a number of changes in service provision and diversification of the portfolio. Sarah has a B.A (Hons) degree, a Master level Instructor for the Crisis Prevention Institute in Non- Violent Crisis Intervention, Dementia Capable Care, Registered Managers Award, NVQ 4 in management, Supervisory Management, Diploma in Performance Coaching (Business), BTEC and a Masters’ Degree in Management and Leadership.

Alison began working in care over 25 years ago. Alison began as a support worker. Alison worked her way up to deputy manager with Moor View Care. Alison began working for Milewood Healthcare in 2004 as a home manager. Alison was fully involved in the set up and development of the three homes in Whitby, Alison took up the role of operations manager for Milewood in 2012 and then the role of Nominated Individual. Alison was responsible for 19 residential homes in the north of England, She has a wealth of experience and knowledge of working with Learning Disabled Adults with Complex Behavioural Needs, Mental Health and Autism. She has been shortlisted for numerous Great British Care Awards since her employment with Milewood. Alison has gained her NVQ 3, Registered Managers award and NVQ 5 along with all mandatory training which includes, Safeguarding, Mental Capacity, First aid, Health & Safety, Food and Infection Control.
Mike Smith is a business development professional with a B.A. (Hons.), D.M.S, Diploma in Business Coaching including NLP, Master’s Degree and a Doctor of Business Administration. He is a Delta Mu Delta member and holder of the ACSBP Student Leadership Award. Mike has supported, on an individual and group basis, every stigmatised group. He has managed, founded, developed and line managed day care centres, supported living and residential support for Young People, Deaf People with complex needs, people with physical and learning disabilities, people with a mental health diagnosis, elderly, and specialist dementia hospitals. Mike was a registered manager for numerous children’s home, homes for learning disabled adults and or a mental health diagnosis. He co-founded healthcare organisations and was the Nominated Individual for numerous services.
